The Club
A culture club for the Filipino American — born in LA.
FilAm Culture Club started as a Sunday cookout off Temple Street in 2022 — a screen printer in the garage, a stack of barong scraps, and a question: what would our lolas wear if they grew up between Historic Filipinotown and the 101?
Every collection borrows from the textiles that raised us — piña, jusi, abaca — and pairs them with the silhouettes we actually wear in LA: boxy tees, mechanic jackets, wide-leg slacks, six-panel caps. We design every piece in DTLA's Fashion District and and in Quezon City, paying our makers fairly on both sides of the Pacific.
From Eagle Rock to Carson, West Covina to Long Beach, Cerritos to Echo Park — this is for the kababayan who built this city, and for the second-gen kids who eat adobo on Tuesdays and birria on Wednesdays. We're not nostalgic. We're proud. There's a difference.
— Walang iwanan. Sa LA, sa atin.
